Switching energy supplier

No matter what your financial situation, it never makes business sense to waste money on the wrong energy tariff.

Switching provider can make a real difference to your spend. Comparing prices and signing up is quick and easy online, while the switching process itself takes around six to eight weeks. Use the following tips to make sure you don’t experience any additional delays:

  • Check you’re not locked into a contract with your current supplier
  • Ensure you’ve served notice with your current supplier during the ‘termination window’
  • Make sure you’ve cleared any outstanding debt with your existing supplier
  • Contact your supplier with a final meter reading.
